Mondo Monday – Street Fighter II & The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave

Mondo gave us double the fun with two title announcements today: One for lovers of classic videos and another for horror fiends!

unnamedFrom Brave Wave and Capcom comes this newly distributed title for Mondo: Street Fighter II The Definitive Soundtrack.

The soundtrack release includes new remasters of both CPS-1 and CPS-2 versions of the arcade game, extracted directly from the arcade boards and approved by original composer Yoko Shimomura. Featuring liner notes by Yoko Shimomura and Polygon.com writer Matt Leone. This limited edition 4 LP box set, carefully and especially remastered in colored vinyl with art prints sourced from the Capcom archive. It can be yours for $75.

unnamedFirst time ever on vinlyl, Bruno Nicolai masterpiece’s masterful score to the 1981 Emilio Miraglia giallo The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave (aka La Notte Che Evelyn Usci Dalla Tomba).

Nicolai once again proves why he was Morricone’s go-to guy for so many years, creating an incredible lush orchestrated mix littered with electronics, off-kilter jazz and an incredible vocal performance from Edda Dell’Orso.

With artwork by Eric Adrian Lee, this baby will set you back $32.

Make your way over to Mondo to get one (or both) for yourself! Both will be available this Wednesday at noon (central time)!
