1) Jordan Peele goes horror
Jordan Peele, one half of the hilarious duo behind Key & Peele takes a stab at horror with his directorial debut. Based on the trailer, he appears to be be just as capable of thrills as laughs. Universal has set a Feb. 24, 2017 release date.
The groovy folks at the Alamo Drafthouse are hosting a marathon of the entire A Nightmare on Elm Street series on October 15. To find out if it’s playing in your area, head over to their site. Those brave enough to make it through all the films will score this excellent badge from Mondo Tees!
3) Shocktober returns for Scream Factory

4) Phenomena Blu-ray details revealed
This November, Synapse Films is releasing a 3-disc limited edition of Dario Argento’s Phenomena and Rue Morgue has gotten the scoop on the set’s contents. In addition to three cuts of the film, it’ll be packed with extras and the film’s soundtrack. Pre-order now. Only 3,000 copies are being produced.
